Celebration Villa of Martinsburg is proud to celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23.

In partnership with the Validation Training Institute, the community will recognize the importance of compassion, connection, and person-centered dementia care. The theme “Meet Me Where I Am” encourages caregivers and families to listen, understand, and validate each person’s feelings and experiences.

Throughout the week, Celebration Villa of Martinsburg will host activities that celebrate residents’ life stories while educating families and community members about Validation.

Through Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey philosophy, Validation helps caregivers create moments of trust, comfort, and meaningful connection.
